Completion Supervisor

GlobeKonect Petrochemical & Energy is a prominent and diversified energy company that deals in oil, gas, chemical and renewable energy. We are in search of a skilled, experienced and professional Completion Supervisor to join our dynamic and dedicated team in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

    Job Description  

As a Completion Supervisor, you will be responsible for optimizing well performance and ensuring that all operations comply with regulatory standards and safety protocols. You will oversee the preparation and execution of well completions which includes strategic planning of fracturing, perforating, tubing, and downhole tool placements to optimize extraction.

   Duties and Responsibilities

* Develop and implement completion programs and strategies.

* Implement cost-control measures to maintain budget integrity.

* Reduce well workover time by way of optimizing process solutions.

* Ensure the Contractor is familiar with all stages of the work program.

* Monitor and keep records of materials consumption related to well workover.

* Supervising the installation of well equipment such as tubing, packers, and downhole tools.

* Ensure execution operation with compliance to health, safety, and environmental standards.

* Prepare operational reports and analyses to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

* Coordinate logistics for personnel, equipment, and materials required for successful well completions.

* Monitor completion operations, interpret real-time data, and make adjustments to strategies as necessary.

* Maintain clear communication with contractors and on-site personnel, ensuring alignment with project goals.

* Develop and execute completion designs and operational plans in collaboration with geologists, engineers and other stakeholders.

   Minimum Job Requirements

* Cover letter.

* CV/Resume.

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably petroleum engineering or related field.

* Well Control Certification (e.g., IWCF Level 4), HSE and other relevant compliance areas.

* At least 8-10 years of work experience as a Completion Supervisor in the energy industry; or experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

* Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for work experience on a year for year basis.

   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

* Great technical skills and physical stamina.

* Ability to lead and manage field-based teams.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

* Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft office.

* Knowledge of technical presentations and reporting.

* Skill in organising resources, establishing priorities, and working efficiently.

* Ability to work effectively in an ethnically diverse and international environment.

* Ability to communicate fluently in English language and read technical drawings

* Strong understanding of electrical power systems, circuitry, and risk management issues.
